If you’re more interested in peace and quiet vs action this is the place for you. Very quiet area with lots of friendly neighbors.

This was our second five-night stay at Breaking Even. We love it! Pet friendly and love the location. Feels like home. Kevin was really responsive too.

This was my first time in the Gulf Shores area and it was everything I had hoped for. The place was clean and had everything that I needed. A very short walk to the beach made it very easy to go back and forth. The staff were very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Absolutely beautiful home, walking distance to the beach in a private area. Only downfall was finding out when we got here most restaurants closed at 9PM, which had NOTHING to do with Kevin and his home. House was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our getaway

Close to beach, awesome view. Directions could be confusing. The property doesnt explicitly state the directions. Be careful if the route is taking you through ferries. Typically it would as that save 1.5 hrs. But ferry has its own schedule. I feel thar it should have been mentioned in the artical instructions like other propertes. We drove strsight 12 hrs only to find out that the ferry was closed. So another detour of 1.5 hrs. It was storming heavily, the pirch lights were not on and was very difficult to get in in that crazy weather, pitch dark, flying umbrellas, one dog, one teenager Nd 3 sleepy adults. Please keep thevpirch lights on ..it helps a lot. 2nd, tv s need a through chevk up. We couldnt make the living room tv work at all the bedroom tv was working but apps were reallh slow 3rd, the vonfo osnt stocked up. It has basic utensils, many of them are worn out, but no basic condiments and stuff. I have stayed in many vrbo properties, this condo had the least. 4th, the washer dryer positioning is a hazard. You cant open them unless you are a size 0 or -1 and able to squeeze ib through thar narrow space. The dryer door seemed to be jammed and when you open it, yoh end up hitting your head, because the washer dryer arent meant to be in that tiny space.

The house was nice for a sweet little get away with family. Love the location and the house is cute and comfy. Definitely recommend 🌟

Check in was easy breezy! Loved the location.. we walked to beach. It’s not as crowded either! Loved the grill.. we grilled out several times! Kevin was responsive to my messages! Will stay again

Great location in relation to the beach. I would say the house does need updating; cabinets are chipped, bathroom vanities have damage, above toilet storage rack was rusted, and some of the porch railings felt unsturdy. For the easy accessibly to the beach, it was worth it. Very quiet street. There is no bathtub like the listing said; this made it very troublesome to bathe the toddler with us. Host was very responsive.

Great place to stay! The house is super cute and a quick walk to the beach. There’s a ton of outdoor space with a large front and back deck, outdoor shower, and space under the house.
