Beautiful location, view from balcony was amazing and nice sized!

This is a nice condo with an amazing view of the Gulf. The kitchen is well stocked. Both elevators were not operating when we arrived and since it's on the 12th floor walking up wasn't an option. Kevin was extremely responsive and offered us a different place to stay. Fortunately after 4 hours the elevator was fixed and we enjoyed our stay. Kevin went above and beyond with wine and a gift card for our troubles even though it wasn't his fault that the elevator was out of service. I would stay here again because of Kevin's hospitality and it's a lovely place to enjoy the beach.

The unit was clean and nice. Quiet area and safe location. Crazy elevator code system. I didn’t like the beach ramps cause they had so much sad in them and the waves of the ocean built a wall of sand that kept me from walking the beach. The bathrooms need updating. Looks like doggie stains on the carpets in the bedrooms and seems like the floor would be a different material. All in all the unit was nice and I’d recommend it to others. The balcony was fantastic! We loved it!

The confirmed price at booking was increased $175 when credit card was charged 11 days before the date of vacation. The scheduled payments weren’t followed per invoice confirmation. Now we worried if legit. After continued attempts to resolve with host and VRBO the host asked for credit card statements which were sent multiple times. Host said he didn’t receive them, gave run around excuse of additional pet fee, although cleaning fee was already in. He blamed booking agent for error and would not correct. I didn’t get checkin info prior to stay as we were driving 17 hours across country. The day of, still no check in info- worried now. Check in at 4- still no check in info! I called and got check in info 2 hours late. We thought we were stranded! The condo had dirty windows, 12th floor no screen in bathroom or bedroom windows! Dirty windows, broken can opener, no hair dryer, some electrical outlets not working, partial paper towel with no additional paper towel, not enough garbage bags. After stay the host said will refund $175 which I’m still waiting for. The worry beforehand and late check in info that I had to prompt to get was not worth booking with this host.

Our family truly enjoyed Beach Colony! Place was clean, host was responsive and views were great!
